Abstract:Introduction
The majority of hepatic patients are clinically euthyroid. However, liver disorders may alter thyroid hormone metabolism, including substantial abnormalities of either euthyroid sick syndrome (ESS), autoimmune thyroid disorders, or subclinical hypothyroidism (SH).
