Association between maternal attitude towards female circumcision and daughter’s circumcision status

Abstract: Female circumcision, also known as female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C), involves the partial or total removal of the external genitalia or other injury to the female organs for non-medical reasons. 1 It is mostly carried out on young girls between infancy and age 15.
