Abstract:Background: The triglyceride glucose-body mass index (TyG-BMI) is considered to be an alternative indicator of insulin resistance (IR) with greater clinical value in terms of cardiovascular risk. However, the relationship between TyG-BMI and left ventricular asynchrony, which determines heart function, is unclear.
