Abstract:Introduction. Double aortic arch (DAA) represents a vascular malformation generated by the persistence of the right dorsal aorta from the intrauterine life. An aortic ring is formed, that surrounds the trachea and esophagus, resulting in difficulty in breathing and swallowing.
