Abstract:Background: The presence of giant epiglottic cysts can lead to throat discomfort, foreign body sensation within the throat and respiratory distress. However, asymptomatic sufferers who remain undiagnosed may additionally face demanding situations in airway control during anesthesia emergencies. In intense instances, a tracheotomy may be required.
