Atmospheric phase fluctuation effect on communication quality in space uplink optical communciation

Abstract: The BER performance with consideration of phase fluctuation effect in space optical communication is investigated. When the phase fluctuation effect is considered, BER definitely increase which leads to the worse communication quality. Based on numerical simulation, BER is sensitive to the higher level of zenith angle.
