Atrial baffle stenting

Abstract

Key Points Adult survivors of the atrial switch operation contend with a multitude of complications, including systemic and pulmonary venous baffle obstruction, baffle leak, arrhythmia, and failure of the systemic right ventricle. Hybrid or intravascular interventions may be indicated for baffle obstruction, baffle leak, pacing lead revision, and clinical symptoms. Despite the complexity of these procedures, high procedural success rates can be achieved, with limited complications and improvement of clinical symptoms, at experienced centers.
