Abstract:We show that attosecond core-level spectroscopy is a powerful tool for investigating molecular dynamics due to its combined attosecond temporal resolution and the broad coherent spectrum that allows deciphering the signatures of nuclear and electronic motion through their different energetic signatures. The method reveals the correlated real-time electronic and nuclear wave packet dynamics nonadiabatic transitions across conical intersections, identifies electronic and nuclear coherences, and registers symmetr… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
