Abstract

Day by day, a new scholar bridge betweenBirmingham, Alabama and Kyiv becomes more tangible. The cornerstone of this digital bridge was laid by Dr. Le and colleagues in 2020. 2 Their highly productive collaboration and hard work made this transatlantic cooperation possible. 3,4 The interplay between the players of a team of any profile is a key aspect of its success. That is why cooperation with Dr. Kase (Fig), from the same Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as Dr. Le, 2,3,5,6 became so important for the editorial board of the Journal of Diagnostics and Treatment of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.Despite any circumstances, like pandemic 7 and war [8][9][10][11] , the communication between professionals can show the tendency to grow. That is why we are so happy to feel the support of Dr. Kase in such a turbulent period as war time Kyiv, Ukraine
