Auswirkungen eines chlormadinonazetathaltigen Ovulationshemmers auf Androgenisierungserscheinungen sowie den Leber- und Fettstoffwechsel junger Frauen

Abstract: Twenty-two patients, average age 22 years, were treated for androgenization phenomena with a combination preparation containing ethinyl estradiol and chlormadinone acetate (Neo-Eunomin) over a period lasting 12 cycles. Under this therapy acne, seborrhea, alopecia and hirsutism improved. The hepatic metabolism parameters checked before and during the study (alkalic phosphatase, SGPT, gamma-GT and total bilirubin) showed no pathologic changes and decreased significantly toward the end of the treatment period.
