Autograft Ossiculoplasty in Cholesteatoma

Abstract: Although using autogenous ossicles in reconstruction offers stable hearing results with good tendency for healing and minimal extrusion, their use in cholesteatomatous ears has been criticized for the possibility of progressive osteitis, bone resorption and cholesteatoma recurrence.
