Abstract:Autoimmune haemolytic anaemia (AIHA) is an acquired disorder resulting in the presence of antibodies against red blood cell antigens which leads to intravascular haemolysis. It can occur as the initial and sometimes the only presenting feature of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).
