Abstract:Experimental studies in animals demonstrate the ability of the bone marrow stem cells to differentiate in cardiomyocytes, vascular endothelium cells and smooth muscle cells. There is evidence that these cells can regenerate infarcted myocardium and induce myogenesis and angiogenesis.
