Avaliação da qualidade da imagem através da análise da relação sinal-ruído e contraste-ruído em um sistema de mamografia digital

Abstract: O câncer de mama é o mais comum entre as mulheres, por este motivo o Ministério da Saúde recomenda que a mamografia seja realizada a cada dois anos em mulheres entre 50 e 69 anos, de modo que o principal objetivo deste exame como método de rastreamento é justamente a redução da taxa de mortalidade em função do aumento de casos detectados em estados iniciais da doença.
