We consider a dark matter (DM) model offering a very natural explanation of the observed relation, Ω dark ∼ Ω visible . This generic consequence of the model is a result of the common origin of both types of matter (DM and visible) which are formed during the same QCD transition. The masses of both types of matter in this framework are proportional to one and the same dimensional parameter of the system, ΛQCD. The focus of the present work is the detail study of the dynamics of the CP-odd coherent axion field a(x) just before the QCD transition. We argue that the baryon charge separation effect on the largest possible scales inevitably occurs as a result of merely existence of the coherent axion field in early Universe. It leads to preferential formation of one species of nuggets on the scales of the visible Universe where the axion field a(x) is coherent. A natural outcome of this preferential evolution is that only one type of the visible baryons remains in the system after the nuggets complete their formation. This represents a specific mechanism on how the baryon charge separation mechanism (when the Universe is neutral, but visible part of matter consists the baryons only) replaces the conventional "baryogenesis" scenarios.

We advocate the idea that there is a fundamentally new mechanism for the axion production in the Sun, which has never been discussed previously in the literature. This novel mechanism of the axion production is based on the so-called sxion quark nugget (AQN) dark matter model. These axions will be produced in addition to wellstudied axions emitted due to the Primakoff effect. The AQN model was originally invented as a natural explanation of the observed ratio Ω dark ∼ Ω visible when the DM and visible matter densities assume the same order of magnitude values, irrespective to the axion mass m a or initial misalignment angle θ 0 . This model, without adjustment of any parameters, reproduces reasonably the intensity of the extreme UV (EUV) radiation from the solar corona as a result of the AQN annihilation events with the solar material. This extra energy released in the corona represents a resolution, within the AQN framework, a long-standing puzzle known in the literature as the "solar corona heating mystery." The same annihilation events also produce the relativistic axions. This represents a new mechanism of the axion production and constitutes the main subject of this work. The flux of these axions is unambiguously fixed in this model and expressed in terms of the EUV luminosity from the corona. We also compute the spectral properties of these axions and make a few comments on the potential for the discovery of these solar axions by the upgraded CAST (CERN Axion Solar Axion) experiment.

In the near future BabyIAXO will be the most powerful axion helioscope, relying on a custom‐made magnet of two bores of 70 cm diameter and 10 m long, with a total available magnetic volume of more than 7 m3. In this document, it proposes and describe the implementation of low‐frequency axion haloscope setups suitable for operation inside the BabyIAXO magnet. The RADES proposal has a potential sensitivity to the axion‐photon coupling down to values corresponding to the KSVZ model, in the (currently unexplored) mass range between 1 and 2 eV, after a total effective exposure of 440 days. This mass range is covered by the use of four differently dimensioned 5‐meter‐long cavities, equipped with a tuning mechanism based on inner turning plates. A setup like the one proposed will also allow an exploration of the same mass range for hidden photons coupled to photons. An additional complementary apparatus is proposed using LC circuits and exploring the low energy range ( eV). The setup includes a cryostat and cooling system to cool down the BabyIAXO bore down to about 5 K, as well as an appropriate low‐noise signal amplification and detection chain.
