Studies on Erysipelosis I. Infectivity and Immune Response of Albino Mice (ddN‐Stock) to Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae

Abstract: Summary Experimental erysipelosis in mice (albino ddN‐stock) induced by the highly virulent Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae strain AGATA was characterized by the activation of the reticuloendothelial system and pathological changes in the heart in addition to general septicaemic changes.
