Backpressure effects on emitters flow rate in subsurface drip irrigation

Abstract: Subsurface drip irrigation success depends on surpassing the backpressure obstacle, a phenomenon which occurs when the water application intensity exceeds the infiltration rate of soil, which reduces the emitter flow rate.
