Bacteremic skin and soft tissue infection caused by Prevotella loescheii

Abstract: BackgroundAnaerobes are a major component of gut flora. They play an important role in the pathogenesis of infections resulting from breaches in mucus membranes. Because of the difficulties in cultivating and identifying it, their role continues to be undermined.
