Abstract:Based on the finite-difference method, the considered Riesz space-fractional diffusion equations result in a series of linear systems, whose coefficient matrices are composed of the identity matrix and the product of diagonal matrix and Toeplitz matrix. With the aid of the Toeplitz structure contained in the discrete linear system, a class of banded preconditioner with shift compensation (BSC preconditioner) is designed to improve the convergence rates of the Krylov subspace iteration methods. The BSC precondi… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
