et al.

Abstract: Wide-range implementations are ongoing to utilize recombinant CO 2 for value-added chemical synthesis via various catalytic approaches. Among others, thermal catalysis is a highly compelling and decisive approach to depleting CO 2 in the atmosphere. This study describes a solvent-and cocatalyst-free CO 2 fixation reaction employed by efficient hierarchical magnesium oxide microspheres. A straightforward precipitation process assisted the synthesis of base MgO materials using different precipitating agents. Suc… Show more

“…4,5 However, the CCU processes are one of the more promising routes to reduce CO 2 concentration in the atmosphere than the CCS methods. 6 This has encouraged the researchers to work on the utilization of CO 2 as a C1 source for the production of value-added products. However, since the CO 2 is linear, thermodynamically, and kinetically stable molecule; the activation of CO 2 requires high energy inputs.…”

“…17,18 Heterocyclic compounds are used as solvents and reagents and are broadly applicable in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, drug design, and Li-ion batteries, and so on. 19 Thus, the design of novel thermocatalysis for the benzimidazole synthesis via the fixing of CO 2 has great catalytic efficiency at the industrial level. Previously, only a few efficient homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts were reported for the benzimidazole synthesis.…”

“…Among greenhouse gases, CO 2 has been identified as the primary culprit in the environment. Hence, designing innovative tactics to lessen anthropogenic CO 2 concentration through the synthesis of value-added chemicals is an impressive task in the research field. , Earlier, various value-added chemicals, namely, methanol, formic acid, hydrocarbons, and heterocyclic compounds, were synthesized using CO 2 as the C1 source. , Heterocyclic compounds are used as solvents and reagents and are broadly applicable in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, drug design, and Li-ion batteries, and so on . Thus, the design of novel thermocatalysis for the benzimidazole synthesis via the fixing of CO 2 has great catalytic efficiency at the industrial level.…”
