The FSW parameters include: the welding force, 1-4 tool rotational speed, 1-6 tool travel speed, 2, 4-10 plunge depth, 10, 11 shoulder diameter, 2-4 , 12 probe length and diameter, 3, 4 and friction properties of the tool material. 9, 10 It should also be noted that these variables may produce a synergetic effect, thus making the problem particularly challenging.…”
