Abstract:In this paper, we derive a Bayesian Cramér-Rao type bound in the presence of unknown nuisance deterministic parameters. The most popular bound for parameter estimation problems which involves both deterministic and random parameters is the hybrid Cramér-Rao bound (HCRB). This bound is very useful especially, when one is interested in both the deterministic and random parameters and in the coupling between their estimation errors. The HCRB imposes locally unbiasedness for the deterministic parameters. However, … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
