Abstract:This paper discussed the Bayesian estimation for the unknown parameters, survival, hazard rate, and alternative hazard rate functions of the discrete Zubair Weibull distribution. Informative priors (gamma and beta) for the parameters of the distribution are assumed. The Bayes estimators are derived under the squared error and linear-exponential loss functions based on Type-II censored sample. Credible intervals for the parameters, survival, hazard rate, and alternative hazard rate functions are obtained. The B… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
