The forehead flap is widely used to repair facial defects. The traditional method would transfer some hair to the recipient area, where the reconstructed beard lies in a misplaced position. The authors designed a reversal forehead free flap method that transposed the flap to 180 degrees, rebuilding the reconstructed beard in the normal position. In addition, the authors used the frontal branches of the superficial temporal vessels on both sides to anastomose with the contralateral parietal branches to lengthen the pedicle and avoid ischemiareperfusion injury.
