Abstract:The aim of this work was to determine the acute toxicity of hydro-alcoholic extract of S. rhombifolia L. (EHASr), and its influence on general behavior, sleeping time induced by pentobarbital, intestinal transit migration and the effect on spontaneous contractile response of intestinal smooth muscles isolated from mice.
