Benign Endocervical Polyp with Heterologous Elements in a 42-year-old Female: Report of a Case

Abstract: A 42-year-old female with unremarkable medical history presented for a routine cervical screening upon which an endocervical polyp was identified and submitted entirely for histopathologic evaluation. Microscopic examination showed multiple well-circumscribed nodular fragments of polyp with superficial erosion and focal acute inflammation.
