Abstract:Small intestine and ampulla can be involved in a heterogeneous group of benign tumors and tumor-like diseases, potentially mimicking malignant neoplasms. In-depth knowledge of them is critical for practicing pathologists since they represent potential pitfalls in routine diagnostic activity.
