Beyond ulcers and osteomyelitis: imaging of less common musculoskeletal complications in diabetes mellitus

Abstract: Metabolic perturbations in diabetes mellitus affect various organ systems and can lead to end-organ failure. Though most musculoskeletal (MSK) complications of diabetes mellitus are usually not life-threatening, they are often the cause of significant morbidity.
