Abstract: Post-translational modifications (PTMs), such as SUMOylation, are known to modulate fundamental processes of a cell. Infectious agents such as Salmonella Typhimurium (STm) that causes gastroenteritis, utilizes PTM mechanism SUMOylation to highjack host cell.
