Bilateral asynchronous chronic Achilles tendon tear in lupus erythematosus: a case report

Abstract: Systemic lupus erythematous is a multisystem and multiorgan disease that, in some patients, causes tendon and ligament degeneration that may lead to rupture. Early treatment is generally preferred but sometimes good results are achieved in chronic lesions.
