Bilateral Endogenous Endophthalmitis From Streptococcus Pneumoniae

Abstract: Endogenous endophthalmitis is a rare, vision-threatening, and potentially life-threatening disease that necessitates prompt, aggressive treatment, and thorough medical evaluation. We report a case of bilateral endogenous endophthalmitis from Streptococcus pneumoniae and its ophthalmologic and systemic sequelae.
