“…13 This was confirmed in the current study, which showed high amylase levels in serum, CBD, and gallbladder in patients with both the dilated and nondilated type of AAPBD. Longstanding inflammation of the biliary tract might be caused by reflux of pancreatic juice, which becomes one of the factors promoting carcinogenesis in the biliary tract.…”

“…We have already shown that some patients with a certain pancreatic ductal morphological type have marked dilatation of the pancreatic duct after cyst excision examined by postoperative ERP, possibly because of pancreatic stagnancy [1]. Moreover, dysfunction of the sphincter of Oddi also plays a role in the pathophysiology of pancreatic drainage [12,13]. It implies that dilatation could occur in the choledochal remnant in the pancreas, however small the remnant of the cyst may be.However, we are unable to confirm if the choledochal remnant is dilated shortly after the cyst excision in the clinical settings, because the postoperative ERP is not routinely performed on all patients.…”

“…• une jonction extraduodénale des deux canaux à distance des sphincters ; • et un angle de raccordement supérieur à 30° [8,9]. L'absence de sphincter propre du bas cholédoque provoque un reflux pancréatobiliaire chronique ce qui a incité certains auteurs à prendre en considération le dosage de l'amylase dans la bile.…”
