“…As Figure 3B presented, the peaks at around 1726, 1636 and 1457 cm −1 can correspond to the vibration of C=O and C=H bonds, respectively. The absorption peak that appeared at 3400 cm −1 can be identified as the stretching vibration of H-O (Li et al, 2021a). The peaks located at 1068 cm −1 and 1261 cm −1 can be attributed to the vibration of P-O-C and P=O bonds, which confirm the formation of phosphonate.…”

“…With increasing temperature, MoS 2 nanosheets are converted into molybdenum oxide playing a Lewis acid catalysis effect, while the produced sulfur can promote the rearrangement of the polymer matrix to form the char residue. Referring to the previous literature, it is believed that the sulfur element can accelerate the formation of the char residue, while the char yield is not increased effectively. , The promoted formation of the char residue is based on the Fries–Finck rearrangement . In fact, the excellent thermal stability of BN nanosheets also makes its barrier effect be presented persistently.…”

“…The thermal degradation process of pure EP is investigated by a TGA test. It was found that pure EP suffered from two thermal degradation processes under an air atmosphere, corresponding to the rearrangement of the epoxy structure and the decomposition stage of resins, respectively (Figure a) . The temperature corresponding to 5 wt % mass loss ( T 5wt% ) of pure EP is 372 °C.…”
