Abstract:In the context of severe burn injuries, the presence of excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS), prolonged microbial infection, and compromised angiogenesis can contribute to the metabolic reprogramming of macrophages, resulting in a dysregulated inflammatory response that hinders the healing process.
