Abstract:Abstract. In the present study, the silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were biosynthesized using tea polyphenols in the silver nitrate solution. The tea polyphenols, which was extracted from the green tea leaves, acted as both reducing (from Ag + to Ag 0 ) and capping agent in the liquid phase.
