Abstract:This paper presents a novel integrated study of the aerodynamic performance and acoustic signature of multirotor propellers with a specific focus on the blade twist angle effect. Experimental measurements and computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations were utilized to examine and compare the aerodynamic performance and noise reduction between twisted and untwisted blades. A 2D phase-locked particle image velocimetry (PIV) was employed to visualize flow structures at specific blade locations in terms of tip … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
