This research investigates the optimal integration of Blockchain Technology (BT) in Supply Chain Management (SCM) within Chile’s maritime ports. Utilizing fuzzy Logarithmic Methodology of Additive Weights (LMAW) and Double Normalization-based Multiple Aggregation Methods (DNMA), the study systematically identifies, prioritizes, and ranks key factors influencing BT adoption in SCM. The study’s findings highlight crucial factors like enhanced transaction security, good supply chain practices, and risk management. Furthermore, it ranks the application of ports as prime candidates for BT integration. The research contributes theoretically by developing a hybrid model combining MCDA methods, and practically by guiding the strategic application of BT in the maritime logistics sector, aligning with the principles of Industry 5.0. This paper presents a novel approach that explores the utilization of BT in maritime supply chain management, incorporating MCDA in a vague environment. The research gap of this study lies in defining new contexts in both theoretical and practical literature reviews for extending the use of BT in SCM in the ports of Chile, according to Industry 5.0, to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of all aspects of operations in these places. The contribution of this research is applying hybrid MCDA methods in an uncertain environment to assist decision-makers (DMs) in better implementing BT in SCM in Chilean ports, according to Industry 5.0.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksplorasi potensi penggunaan teknologi Blockchain dalam optimalisasi manajemen pelabuhan di Indonesia. Pelabuhan merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam rantai pasok global, dan efisiensi operasionalnya sangat mempengaruhi kinerja keseluruhan sistem logistik. Namun, manajemen pelabuhan di Indonesia masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan, termasuk kompleksitas proses, kurangnya transparansi, serta risiko keamanan dan integritas data. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur. Berdasarkan literatur yang relevan, penelitian ini menyajikan analisis dan sintesis informasi yang ditemukan untuk memahami bagaimana teknologi Blockchain dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam memperbaiki manajemen pelabuhan di Indonesia. Tinjauan literatur yang dilakukan telah mengidentifikasi beberapa potensi penggunaan Blockchain dalam manajemen pelabuhan, termasuk pelacakan dan pemantauan logistik secara real-time, validasi dan otentikasi data, peningkatan transparansi dan kepercayaan, serta efisiensi proses pelabuhan. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi penggunaan smart technology dan penerapan smart contract dalam manajemen pelabuhan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan mengidentifikasi tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengadopsi dan menerapkan teknologi Blockchain pada manajemen pelabuhan. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini juga menyajikan berbagai kerangka konseptual yang dapat memandu penelitian masa depan dan upaya implementasi di bidang ini. Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam manajemen pelabuhan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan suatu kerangka konseptual yang komprehensif tentang bagaimana Blockchain dapat digunakan dalam industri maritim di Indonesia. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengusulkan kerangka analisis kelayakan untuk menilai kesiapan implementasi Blockchain pada manajemen pelabuhan di Indonesia. Hasil tinjauan literatur ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang tren penggunaan Blockchain dalam optimalisasi manajemen pelabuhan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini juga dapat menjadi landasan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dan membantu para pemangku kepentingan di Indonesia dalam mengambil keputusan terkait penerapan teknologi Blockchain dalam konteks manajemen pelabuhan.

With the widespread use of electronic seals (e-seals), their traceability and security have attracted more and more attention. Moreover, the complexity of shipping operations and container handling justifies the use of technologies to ensure information security in the face of attacks. This work contributes a blockchain-based solution with a simulated prototype for improving electronic seals for containers on terminals in ports. An electronic seal was designed, and a blockchain prototype was constructed for a container data flow. The obtained results from the prototype were evaluated using performance tests. The security issues in the blockchain were also discussed from a strategic perspective based on game theory. Finally, the simulation concluded that the blockchain improves transaction efficiency. No studies were found that integrated blockchain technology with electronic seals. Therefore, this work intends to combine blockchain technology with e-seal to improve the security of transferred data due to its immutable nature.
