Abstract:The uniform body emission properties of lateral single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) emitters grown by chemical vapor deposition are reported. Lateral SWNTs lying on the substrate were found to possess a turn-on field of at least 1.67 V/µm and a field enhancement factor of 5223 at most.
