Bone Tissue Condition in Children With Bronchial Asthma

Abstract: To date, the question of the effect of the nature of the course of bronchial asthma on the state of bone tissue in patients is being studied. 465 children with bronchial asthma aged 7 to 16 years were monitored. The examined performed ultrasound osteodensitometry. We found that 72.3% of patients with bronchial asthma had a low body mass index, and in 22.1% of the examined body mass index exceeded the average values.
