Abstract:Iridium (Ir) nanoparticles with loadings of 0.6, 1.2, 1.8, and 3 wt % were supported on TiO2 in the anatase phase by the deposition–precipitation with urea (DPU) method and were evaluated as catalysts for the thorough oxidation of propane (C3H8). Ir/TiO2 was active in the total oxidation of C3H8 at low temperatures (150–300 °C).
