Brachial plexus paralysis associated with traumatic asphyxia

Abstract: Traumatic injuries are the most common cause of brachial plexus lesions in children and adults. There are many causes of brachial plexus injuries such as accidents, falls and prolonged pressure. Traumatic asphyxia (TA) is a rare but serious clinical syndrome. Rarely, brachial plexus lesion may develop after TA and it is extremely rare in children.
