Breast-conserving treatment after neoadjuvant chemotherapy in large breast cancer

Abstract: Several recent trials have demonstrated that neoadjuvant chemotherapy can allow more patients to successfully undergo breast-conserving treatment (BCT), and does not confer a survival disadvantage compared with standard adjuvant chemotherapy.
