Cloud computing is a paradigm which is providing rent based service for the on-demand request for cloud users. It reduces a large amount of investment for many organizations. Cloud environment plays a vital role in minimizing management effort for computational, storage of data, and other services. Cloud environment facilitates anything as a service for consumers. Many organizations move towards cloud computing environment for outsourcing their business through the internet at the same time major issues are available in different service levels. Many types of research are going on in different levels. One of the major issues is security and privacy. This paper presents a review of issues in cloud and summarizes security and privacy related issues and also discusses different techniques used for securing the cloud. The motivation of this paper is to provide some useful background information for organizations considering the cloud computing environment to take advantage of this new computing paradigm.
