Cable Bacteria as Long-Range Biological Semiconductors

Abstract: Filamentous cable bacteria exhibit unprecedented long-range biological electron transport 1-3 , which takes place in a parallel fibre structure that shows an extraordinary electrical conductivity 4 for a biological material.
