Abstract:There are two main areas in which the Internet of Ships (IoS) can help: firstly, the production stage, in all its phases, from material bids to manufacture, and secondly, the operation of the ship. Intelligent ship management requires a lot of information, as does the shipbuilding process. In these two phases of the ship’s life cycle, IoS acts as a key to the keyhole.
