Abstract: Suppression of single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) gap accumulation at replication forks has emerged as a potential determinant of chemosensitivity in homologous recombination (HR)-deficient tumors, as ssDNA gaps are transformed into cytotoxic double-stranded DNA breaks.
