Calculation of a beam with external reinforcement. Contact layer model

Abstract: The article is devoted to the stress-strain state study of the beam, with external reinforcement in the tensile zone. The classical Euler-Bernoulli hypotheses are used for the beam. The interaction of the beam with the reinforcement layer is carried out using the contact layer. In order to simplify the previously obtained solution, the flexural stiffness of the reinforcement layer is not taken into account.
