Abstract:The aim of the work is to replace the criterion of the original Mohr – Coulomb criterion with an empirical plasticity condition in which the limit state arises at deformation εlim<15 %. As a result of the analysis of experimental data on testing soils by triaxial compression, an empirical plasticity criterion is obtained. The limiting state by the empirical criterion occurs when the sample is deformed by 10–12%. The shear stresses calculated by this plasticity condition exceed the shear stresses calculated … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
