In recent years, both Indian and foreign universities have experienced significant transformations that have had a profound impact on the education sector. This comparative analysis aims to examine the key changes and their consequences in Indian and foreign educational institutions. India, with its diverse cultural fabric and increasing focus on knowledge-driven industries, has witnessed a remarkable shift in its education system. Technological advancements have facilitated the adoption of online learning platforms, blended learning models, and personalized approaches to education. These developments have expanded access to quality education, bridging geographical barriers and reaching learners in remote areas. Similarly, foreign universities have also undergone noteworthy transformations. Globalization, digitalization, and the increasing demand for international education have prompted these institutions to diversify their programs, enhance cross-cultural experiences, and adopt innovative teaching methods. Furthermore, the growing emphasis on interdisciplinary studies and research collaborations has propelled foreign universities to the forefront of knowledge creation and dissemination. This analysis will explore the key factors driving the impact on education in both Indian and foreign universities, shedding light on the unique challenges and opportunities each system faces in the pursuit of educational excellence. The Cronbach's Alpha value model with a score of at least 60% can be considered for analysis based on the literature study. Indian universities have shown improvement in recent years, but they still struggle with overall quality. Foreign universities are renowned for their high standards, advanced research facilities, and experienced faculty. The quality of education in foreign universities often attracts students globally. However, Indian universities play a crucial role in providing affordable education to a large population, contributing to social mobility and addressing the country's diverse educational needs.

The influence of mind mapping on computational thinking skills and self-efficacy in students’ learning of graphical programming

Computational thinking is regarded as an essential skill for students in the 21st century, and programming is one of the means to cultivate it. This study introduces mind mapping into graphical programming to visualize the cognitive process of computational thinking, aiming to enhance students’ computational thinking skills. After a semester of teaching experiments, independent-sample t-tests and paired-sample t-tests were conducted on the data, revealing significant improvements in both computational thinking skills and self-efficacy among the students in the experimental group. Further analysis of the data showed significant enhancements in their algorithmic thinking and modeling, as well as pattern recognition and evaluation sub-skills, while abstraction and decomposition sub-skills did not show significant improvement. Additionally, the experimental group demonstrated significant improvements to varying degrees in five dimensions of computational thinking self-efficacy: creativity, algorithmic thinking, collaboration skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

This research quantitatively analyzes worldwide university studies on teaching Differential and Integral Calculus, comparing them with the challenging Brazilian context, which historically faces high rates of failure. Following a Systematic Literature Review structure, 122 documents from different databases (Capes, Scopus, Web of Science, and Science Direct) were reviewed. The focus was placed on worldwide teaching methods for differential and integral calculus, with defined filters and inclusion/exclusion criteria for relevance. According to the results, there is a global rise in alternative and active teaching and learning methods usage. Thus, technological advancements in calculus education through software and group work are highlighted as other means to establish a more student-centric and achievement-oriented learning process. Despite the global progress in teaching calculus, the comparison with Brazil reveals the need to enhance teaching methodologies in national institutions, given the limited number of published studies exploring alternative teaching approaches.
