Calibration of a compact absolute atomic gravimeter*

Abstract: Compact atomic gravimeters are the potential next generation precision instruments for gravity survey from fundamental research to broad field applications. We report the calibration results of our home build compact absolute atomic gravimeter USTC-AG02 at Changping Campus, the National Institute of Metrology (NIM), China in January 2019. The sensitivity of the atomic gravimeter reaches 35.5 … Show more

“…In the same year, the Lin group at Zhejiang University of Technology realized a sensitivity of 300 µGal/ √ Hz in their Raman atom gravimeter [161]. Recently, the Chen group at University of Science and Technology of China completed a Raman atom gravimeter (USTC-AG02) and achieved a sensitivity of 35 µGal/ √ Hz [162].…”

“…Absolute gravimetry with a precision at the micro-Gal (1 μGal = 10 nm/s 2 ) level has been demonstrated [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 ] through gravimeters based on light-pulse atom interferometers [ 9 ]. In a quiet environment, atomic gravimeters have shown unprecedented sensitivity [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ].…”

“…A relatively overlooked class of HUMs targeted for gas separation are those based on the Hofmann clathrate structure. [8][9][10][11] Hofmann materials are characterised as either 2D or 3D coordination polymers whose frameworks are constructed using cyano-bridged bimetallic layers, pillared by heterocyclic ligands with N-donor atoms, Fig. 1.…”
